Students passing class X examination with at least 50% from the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur or others passing the same from Boards/ universities recognized by COHSEM may apply for the admission. Eligibility certificates be submitted along with the application forms for students passing other than BOSEM. than BOSEM.
XTRA EDGE ARTS STREAM
Xtra Edge School, Ghari brings to you the great news of the commencement of a separate block for the stream of Arts starting from this upcoming academic session of 2022. We aim to provide the best system for studies in the Arts stream at the higher secondary level with expertise in the concerned subjects forming the faculty of the institution. This new initiative of the institution is undertaken with the hope to fulfill the desires and aims of many bright students of the state wishing to pursue their higher secondary studies in the stream of Arts, which is at most times hindered by the very few numbers of institutions offering courses in the Arts stream. We have, after a serious and productive discussion with various expertise in the field, decided and finally confirmed our plan to incorporate the Arts stream in our formerly Science stream-based institution from the upcoming 2022 academic session. The institution will offer main subjects in the stream – History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, English & Geography. The curriculum will be based on the syllabi prescribed by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM). Further details of the courses and admissions will be notified soon. With a successful history in the results of the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by COHSEM in the science stream, we promise the students wishing to pursue Arts stream in the institution equal success in the examination and in their career. We wish to promote an advanced education system in the state in both the Science and Arts streams.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
- Filled in application Forms should be submitted in time as instructed.
- One attested copies of mark sheet of H.S.L.C.E.
- One attested copies of Admit Card of H.S.L.C.E.
- One attested copies of Eligibility Certificate (Only for CBSE/ Other Boards, etc)
HOSTEL
Hostel accommodation cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Admission to the hostels is made against the available vacant seats. All selected students who need hostel accommodation will be required to apply in the prescribed application form obtainable from the School Office.
The School has three hostels (two for boys and one for girls), which provide excellent hostel accommodation for a limited number of bonafide full-time students of the school who pay the required fees regularly. Two boys hostels have a total accommodation of 78 (38+40) students while the girls hostel has an accommodation of 100 students. Each hostel has its livein wardens, who administer the hostels.
